*World's most (and least) powerful passports!*
The Henley Passport Index 2024 has been released. The index is based on data provided by the International Air Transport Authority (IATA) and covers 199 passports & 227 travel destinations. It helps wealthy individuals and governments assess the value of citizenships around the world based on which passports offer the most prolific visa-free, or visa-on-arrival access. There can be multiple countries at one rank (if they provide visa-free access to same number of countries).
*Which are the top countries?*
France, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Japan & Spain are at 1st position with Visa-free access to 194 destinations
*Which are the worst countries?*
Yemen (105), Pakistan (106) , Iraq (107), Syria (108) & Afghanistan (109) are worst with visa-free access to 35,24,29,31 & 28 destination respectively.
*Where is India?*
India has moved down 5 places since last year and now ranks 85th with visa-free access to 62 destinations, up from 57 last year.
