 Maulana Habibur Rahman Ludhianvi's granddad Shah Abdul Qadir had driven the progressives of Punjab in the conflict of 1857 and was eventually martyred while battling the English at Chandni Chowk.


 Maulana Habibur Rahman Ludhianvi was one of the pioneers behind Tanzeem Majlis-e-Ahrar, which assumed a part in the freedom of India. This framework was firmly against the parcel of India.
