The history of the Maurya kings

The history of the Maurya kings goes back 900 years beyond Vrihadratha, to the 7th century.,

So far, all that is known in history is that the Maurya Empire collapsed after the assassination of Chandragupta Maurya (323 BC) and the last Maurya Emperor Brahmadratha (185 BC), from here the Maurya rule came to an end.

It is said that after killing the king, Pushyamitra Shunga, the Brahmin commander of Brahdratha, became the king of Ayodhya himself and started killing Buddhists, announcing a reward of 100 gold pieces to anyone who beheaded a Buddhist monk.  He got Valmiki's Ramayana written in Sanskrit by his court poet Balmik and declared himself Ram.

We find these things in pages 161, 162 of Rahul Sanskritayan's book 'Volga to Ganga', this book was published for the first time in 1942, we accepted all the things written in the book as true and never thought that Pushyamitra Shunga was a Brahmin commander.  It is being written in the book, but according to Manusmriti and other Brahmin texts, the job of a Brahmin is to read, teach, wield weapons and not be a commander,

It is the job of a Kshatriya to wield weapons and become a commander.

According to the book Volga to Ganga, Pushyamitra Sunga is a Brahmin commander while killing Brihadratha, but when he is writing himself Ram in Valmiki Ramayana, then he becomes a Kshatriya, because Ram was a Kshatriya, then Valmiki Ramayana is in Sanskrit language.  And the Sanskrit language came into use after the seventh century. At the time of Brihadratha, there was 'Pali language', there was no Sanskrit language, then how is it possible that Pushyamitra Shunga was getting Valmiki Ramayana written in Sanskrit language, apart from this  There was no caste system (Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya Shudra) at the time of Brihadratha, so how could Pushyamitra Sunga be a Brahmin commander?  , we never tried to test the truth, did we fill our minds with chaff

Overall, there is a lot of confusion in this story of Pushyamitra Shunga.

After this, it is believed in history that the Maurya Empire ended, but research never ends, new research always happens.

Therefore, according to new research, the Maurya Empire dates back to the seventh century, the rule of Kirtivarman Maurya, Pulakeshin II Maurya and Govind Raj Maurya is confirmed in the sixth century in Khandesh of Konkan district of Maharashtra, the capital of the Mauryas of Konkan (Maharashtra) was in Puri.  This Maurya ruler was a lover of art like his ancestors, he had built the Jogeshwari Buddhist caves in the sixth century.

There is mention of Dindiraj Maurya, the Maurya ruler of Mathura. The interesting fact is that the name of a Maurya king of Mathura was Chandragupta Maurya.

In the seventh century, Chittor and Kota of Rajasthan were ruled by the Mauryas, King Chitrangada Maurya of this Maurya dynasty had built the Chittor fort and also built the Chitrangada Lake, apart from this, the Padmini Palace, the ruins of which can still be seen today.

In 713 AD, there is mention of four Maurya rulers, Maheshwar Maurya, Bhima Maurya, Bhoj Maurya, and Man Maurya. King Man Maurya built Mansarovar Lake.

Dhaval Maurya is mentioned in 738 AD

The question is that historians have a lot of archaeological evidence available to write the history of medieval Maurya, but why is Indian history unaware of it?

Chandragupta, the Maurya king, followed in the footsteps of his ancestors and propagated Buddhism from Emperor Ashoka to the seventh century.
