Megasthenes had written a book three centuries before Christ, the name was- #Indika (India)
“At that time neither the British knew us nor we the British!” Therefore, there is a need to know the real history of “INDIA That is” Bharat” without being free from mere sentimentality.
If you have read 'E' of the forgotten history, then you must have heard the name of Greek ambassador Megasthenes. Megasthenes, born in Greece three centuries before Christ, wrote a book named 'Indica'.
He was an ally of the Greek ruler Seleucus Nicator. After the death of Alexander, Seleucus attacked India. Then he had a conflict with Chandragupta Maurya, but ultimately he had to make a treaty. After the treaty, Seleucus married his daughter Helen Cornelia (Helena) to Chandragupta.
On this occasion, Megasthenes was appointed as the ambassador of Greece to the court of Chandragupta Maurya.
After the return of Seleucus, Megasthenes stayed in India for about two and a half years. He wrote a book based on his travel experiences named "Indika".
In this book he has described the condition of Indian society from the court of Chandragupta.
So brothers and sisters, when Megasthenes came to India and named his book Indica, no one knew at which end of the earth the British were going to hell.
